The Cogent Vetting Team provides a wealth of expertise in the Personnel Security environment. Our team collectively offers over 100 years of experience in providing security assessments to Government, Law Enforcement and Private business. All staff hold the relevant qualifications in accordance with the standards and guidelines contained in the Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Cogent is a member of the Commonwealth External Security Vetting Services panel to provide security vetting services. Information regarding vetting processes can be obtained from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) website www.defence.gov.au/agsva.

All employees hold the relevant qualifications in accordance with the standards and guidelines contained in the Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Service And Locations

Cogent’s head office is located in Fyshwick, Canberra with dedicated offices for our vetting team. Our Canberra Office meets all requirements of the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP). With a network of security vetting analysts around Australia, Cogent has the breadth and depth to provide the full complement of clearance levels – baseline to positive level. We have a qualified, extensively experienced team who diligently manage sensitivities, confidentiality and the professional standards required by the PSPF. All Cogent vetting analysts are cleared to a minimum NV1 level.
